month from 7:00-8:30 pm at a venue on campus (usually East Pyne 111). Selections alternate between
fiction and non-fiction, and the authors typically have a Princeton connection.

The Princeton Prize in Race Relations of Central and Southern New Jersey is a committee made up of alumni volunteers, chaired by Linda Blackburn ’71. The committee warmly thanks the sponsors for hosting this event and for their contributions to this ceremony:

Guest Speaker:
Sheena C. Howard, Associate Professor of Communications at Rider University, is an award-winning author, including a 2014 Eisner Award winner for her first book, Black Comics: Politics of Race and Representation (2013). Howard’s work can be found on NPR (National Public Radio), CCP-TV, ABC, and PBS, as well as in the Washington Post and the Philadelphia Weekly, as an expert on popular culture, race, politics and sexual identity negotiation. She is also the producer, writer and director of Remixing Colorblind, a documentary about the ways higher education shapes our perception of race and "others.”

infrastructure, solar panels and stationary energy storage solutions. Will manages the expansion of Tesla’s
Supercharger network for the Northeastern US.
Prior to Tesla, Will founded three startups, including a bamboo bicycle
company while an undergrad at Princeton, and a virtual reality software
company. His talk will focus on the
challenges and advantages of an entrepreneurial background in a large company,
and the ever-changing world of electric vehicles.
