First Friday Lunch - December 2nd, 2011
Join us for First Fridays, a monthly recurring event for undergraduate and graduate Princeton alumni, graduate students, and parents. On the first Friday of each month, area alumni and their guests will meet to enjoy a prix fixe luncheon buffet at the Nassau Club in downtown Princeton. As a special bonus for PA3, a Princeton PhD candidate will present his/her work to the group in this informal setting. Topics vary monthly and are always interesting!
In December, we will be joined by Catherine Reilly, a 2nd year graduate student in the Department of Comparative Literature, focusing on Russian and German literature of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Catherine will discuss recent progress in her research on connections between Rainer Maria Rilke and Anton Chekhov, in addition to a project on Teratology, Wax Anatomy and the Monstrous Text. Those of you who attended Catherine's lively First Friday discussion last season will recall that she was planning a summer in Europe to continue her work. Join us to hear about what she learned there.
Specially priced at $25/person (or $30 if you choose not to pay PA3's annual dues), lunch includes the Nassau Club’s full buffet as well as a complementary beverage (wine, beer, soft drink). Pre-registration is required.

Alumni Connections Student Networking Event
An Invitation to Alumni from The Office of Career Services at Princeton
Princeton area alumni are invited to partner with the Office of Careers Services to offer invaluable career advice and assistance to current students by participating in the: Alumni Connections Student Networking Event
Time: Monday, November 14, 6-8 p.m.
Place: Prospect House (refreshments provided)
Contact: Beverly Hamilton-Chandler, Director of Career Services (hamilton@princeton.edu)
Deadline: November 4, 2011
Purpose: Connecting with alumni is a great way for students to develop a greater understanding of the broad range of opportunities and career paths available to all majors.
