On Saturday morning, April 21, volunteers from the Princeton Womens Network (PWN), Princeton Alumni of NY City (PANYC), and the Princeton Area Alumni Association (PA3) will join thousands of volunteers on the Jersey shore to collect trash from beaches, bays, and waterways, helping Clean Ocean Action catalog the type of debris removed.
We will gather near the Melrose Terrace entrance to the Beach where we will divvy up garbage bags and data-collection sheets. Then, we walk along the beach and help make it garbage-free!
Afterward, we will head to the Boardwalk for lunch.
There is no cost involved, but if you need transportation to the site, we are asking for a $30 contribution to go towards the cost of a van. (Please register below as such) Lunch is on your own dime.
