I hope you're enjoying your summer, despite how humid and miserable it's been this past week. Hard to believe we're already nearing the fall and time to start book club meetings again! As temporary book club leader, Chip has made a September selection as well as an optional additional read for those who have the time.
We will reserve space for a September 20th meeting (7-9pm as usual), but if this date is not doable for you, please let me know and if we have enough objections, we can work on finding a better time.

Additionally, if you have the time, members are encouraged to read a book (any book) by Jennifer Weiner '91. The group will discuss Weiner's writing and storytelling style, experimenting with having members read various selections by one author instead of having the entire group focus on the same book. Additionally, there will be an effort to arrange a small event with Weiner sometime this fall, which may interest some of the book club members.
