IMPORTANT NOTICE: OCT 2nd LUNCHEON SPEAKER CHANGE
Unfortunately, our scheduled speaker for tomorrow's lunch has written me to say he has not been able to leave Moscow to return to Princeton in time for our gathering tomorrow.
Fortunately, our 'own' Charles Ganoe '51 has agreed to jump into action and be our featured guest at lunch tomorrow. Charlie has fascinating travel tales to tell of his time in North Korea and most recently in Vietnam. Please join us!!
--- ALEX RODNYANSKY POSTPONED ---
On Friday, October 2nd, we will be joined by Alexander Rodnyansky, 5th year PhD Candidate in the Economics Department . Alex's main interests are in empirical macroeconomics and finance, though he has a long-standing passion for political economy (having published "Persistent anti-market culture: a legacy of the Pale of Settlement after the Holocaust"). At lunch, Alex will discuss his latest work studying the effects of quantitative easing on bank lending behavior in the US.
Specially priced at $25/person (or $30 if you choose not to pay PA3's annual dues), lunch includes three courses, a complementary beverage (wine, beer, soft drink) and coffee/tea. Pre-registration is preferred.
