FIRST FRIDAY LUNCH AT THE NASSAU CLUB
On December 7th, 2012, PA3 was pleased to host Jamol Pender, a 5th year graduate student in Operations Research and Financial Engineering within the Engineering School. Jamol is researching queueing theory inspired by problems in communications centers. While his thesis focuses on queues, he has interests in applied probability, energy, healthcare, mathematical finance and mathematical biology.
Jamol told us a bit about his path to Princeton and how he got into Operations Research. Then he gave the group an overview of his research at Princeton. As usual at PA3's First Friday lunches, a lively discussion followed the formal presentation.
