In December, we will be joined by Catherine Reilly, a 2nd year graduate student in the Department of Comparative Literature, focusing on Russian and German literature of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Catherine will discuss recent progress in her research on connections between Rainer Maria Rilke and Anton Chekhov, in addition to a project on Teratology, Wax Anatomy and the Monstrous Text. Those of you who attended Catherine's lively First Friday discussion last season will recall that she was planning a summer in Europe to continue her work. Join us to hear about what she learned there.
Specially priced at $25/person (or $30 if you choose not to pay PA3's annual dues), lunch includes the Nassau Club’s full buffet as well as a complementary beverage (wine, beer, soft drink). Pre-registration is required.
